  • Dallas, Texas, September 8, 2012 at 11:29AM the family of SSgt. Jeremie Border was escorted by police into the flight line to greet their fallen hero. On hand were members of the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders along with a few dozen on lookers.

    Staff Sgt. Jeremie S. Border, 28, of Mesquite, Texas, assigned to 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), Torii Station, Japan; died Sept. 1, in Batur Village, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their unit with small arms fire. .

    The music is awful - they are not on a parade - this soldier died! More sombre music would be appropriate. RIP SSGT. Jeremie S Border. Such a young man to be taken. Bikers always make the effort to attend these events, so many turned out to see a soldier come home on his final journey.

    No one thinks of what these brave men and women are doing for this country everyone takes it for granted and it makes me sick because that man gave his life to protect this country and he is and will forever be a green Beret. And I give my prayers for the family of the fallen soldier.
