  • Dallas, Texas, September 8, 2012 at 11:29AM the family of SSgt. Jeremie Border was escorted by police into the flight line to greet their fallen hero. On hand were members of the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders along with a few dozen on lookers.

    Staff Sgt. Jeremie S. Border, 28, of Mesquite, Texas, assigned to 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), Torii Station, Japan; died Sept. 1, in Batur Village, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their unit with small arms fire. .

    My uncle is retired green beret....so glad I didn't have to go to one of these services for him....but have lost loved ones who died in service to this country...R.I.P. to this and everyone who gave it all.much respect
