  • Dallas, Texas, September 8, 2012 at 11:29AM the family of SSgt. Jeremie Border was escorted by police into the flight line to greet their fallen hero. On hand were members of the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders along with a few dozen on lookers.

    Staff Sgt. Jeremie S. Border, 28, of Mesquite, Texas, assigned to 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), Torii Station, Japan; died Sept. 1, in Batur Village, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their unit with small arms fire. .

    28 years a soldier here to say thank you for your service to the fallen.To those who thumbs down this video i say thank you for exercising your right to do so, a right payed for by the lives of those such as in this video.

    R.I.P!Maybe I'm not an American , I'm from Greece, but soldiers who die for their countries must be respected and honored from all of us, specially if they fight against world terrorism

    Ich bin von Deutschland und sehe was die Amerikaner in vielen Ländern geleistet haben. Viele gute, junge Soldaten mussten ihr Leben lassen. Furchtbar. Ich danke jedem Soldaten der in den letzten Jahren und auch zuvor der für unsere Freiheit und Sicherheit gekämpft hat. Vielen Dank. Danke für euren Dienst. Auch den deutschen, französischen und englischen Soldaten. Wir brauchen eure Hilfe auch wenn viele nicht daran glauben und euch blöd anmachen oder anspucken.     I served with the 5th special forces group from 1969 to 1972. I have 2 consecutive tours in Vietnam. Special forces green berets they are the real deal.

    I served with this gentleman in other places across the globe. Jeremie is a phenomenal example of what the military stands for in this country. He laid down his life for you and me to have what freedoms we have today. Jeremie came to my kid's birthday party in Japan. He said he was prepared to die for his country the same as me. Unfortunately, he paid the ultimate sacrifice, and I lived. I was not able to attend his funeral since I was still in the combat zone. I am sorry for that brother, but I know y...

    I became a marine in 1965. im old but im a marine still and i saw many of my comrades die and to this day i cry when we have to bring home a fallen young soldier. R.I.P. brave young lad. we love you now and forever.
